Daisy Parris paints as a way to explore what it means to be human. Her paintings are full of tension as she tries to reflect on the internal struggles we face amidst the relentless worry, numbness and violent encounters of everyday existence. She uses text and hints of familiar structures to try and relay what it feels like to navigate and survive the world around you when you’re riddled with anxiety.
